Have you ever listened or read any of Wayne Dyer's work? I grow up listening to his books on tape, my mom listened to them a lot. He passed away earlier this week, but I think you would really like his work! :)

thanks for the great post, and photo.

Have a great day! :)

My favorite inspirational quote is "Life's a race, and i'm going to win." They are actually lyrics from a song called Survival by my favorite band, Muse. The song was written for the 2012 Summer Olympics, and so it is full of passion, determination, and vigor. However, these words really stick out to me because it shows that we are really capable of anything; there is nothing that can get in the way of our dreams except ourselves, and once we realize that fear can be conquered and failure is a learning process, happiness is in our grasp.

Hi Brooke! Thank you so much for sharing some inspiration, these are things I know help me daily and that i do sometimes need reminders of. Something else that keeps me inspired and excited are artist that work in a different medium then myself for example I am constantly inspired by musicians and authors and imagining things about interesting and creative people that came before me. I am currently truly inspired by the idea of the escape artist and Hoodini. I am graduating in dec. and there is another photographer in NC that has the same name as me, and that is what they work under. So I started working really hard to come up with a brand name that I felt represent myself and my work, I came up with Shattering Light Productions or Shattering Light Photography and was feeling really good about it. I went to the graphic design dept at my school and asked for help with a logo, and was then told by the teacher that the name I came up with was too negative. So instead of getting the help I was looking for she asked the students to think of a "better" name for my business. I want to be open to critique but I need to be true to myself as we'll. I think being so close to graduation May play a part in my now feeling not quite as sure of myself, any advice oh lady of perpetual optimism;-)? Thanks! Looking soo forward to convention in oct!

And who does not like to hear something nice? Among other things, hear beautiful things, whether of ourselves or our work, always makes us well and feeds our creativity and inspiration. Another nice post with great quotes, Brooke. These quotes tell me a lot, no doubt. I will print and put in my desk to inspire me. Thank you! And you know what? See you in London! ;)
