How I love how beautifully you capture emotion. Your photos depict a sense of freedom from ourselves, social norms. As if ,and if even for a slight moment we can throw ourselves into an abyss or third dimension of happiness or nothingness.

Aww, Brooke that sounds so amazing! I would have loved to be on that trip with you. I have the same feelings when I travel, that openness and connectedness that is sometimes hard to find in your day to day life. Travel just rips off your skin and you are forced to feel in ways you can’t imagine until it is happening to you. I have always wanted to explore Angkor Wat and do photos there. One day it will happen. I can’t wait to read more!

Oh, Brooke, I love to see a transition in your work. It is becoming much deeper, more meaningful. When I look at it, I can almost feel your connection with the location and your emotions. No doubt that one feels tiny and fragile and vulnerable there. You emphesised that by the gesture and by depicting yourself small and in the lower portion of the image. The earthy color scheme is well chosen and so is the overlay texture. For me this is one of your best images ever! Thank you so much for sharing!
